New accounts get 3 free credits. After that, you buy a pass: Single ($9.99, 50 credits, 30 days), EP ($24.99, 150 credits, 90 days) or Album ($79, 600 credits, 12 months). There is no subscription.

How many free credits do I get?
New accounts get 3 free credits. You get them when you sign in to TonalBrain Mix in your DAW for the first time.
You do not need a credit card. Free credits do not expire.
How much does a pass cost?
A pass is a one-time payment for a number of credits that you use in a limited time:
- Single pass: $9.99 for 50 credits, valid for 30 days ($9.99 for each month).
- EP pass: $24.99 for 150 credits, valid for 90 days ($8.33 for each month).
- Album pass: $79 for 600 credits, valid for 12 months ($6.58 for each month).
What does 1 credit buy?
One credit buys one analysis. One analysis includes up to 24 tracks and up to 4 sections of your song, 10 seconds each.
One analysis gives one mix for the whole song. Captures, edits, preset changes and imports of saved settings do not use credits.
Is TonalBrain Mix a subscription?
No. You pay for a pass one time. Nothing renews automatically, and there are no monthly fees.
What happens when a pass ends?
When a pass ends, its unused credits end too. TonalBrain Mix and all its effects keep working, with all your settings and presets.
You need credits only for a new AI analysis. To get new suggestions, buy a new pass. A pass that you buy after the end starts with its own credits only.
Does TonalBrain Mix work without credits?
Yes. The plugin and all its effects work without a pass or credits. You can edit every setting and use your presets.
Credits are only for AI analysis. One credit gives one set of AI suggestions for your song.
What if I buy a pass before my pass ends?
Your unused credits carry over to the new pass. The pass then ends on the later date: the current end date or the end of the new pass.
Which credits are used first?
Pass credits are used first, because they have an end date. Your free credits are used after them. Free credits do not expire.
Which pass should I buy?
Buy the pass that agrees with the time that you need. The pass names are only a guide: you can use any pass on as many songs as you like.
A longer pass costs less for each month.
Can I use my credits on more than one computer?
Yes. Your credits belong to your TonalBrain account. You can use them on all your personal computers. Do not share your account with other persons.
How do I buy a pass?
Sign in to your TonalBrain account and select a pass in the pricing section of the home page. You pay one time in a secure checkout.
Then, in the plugin, click Already purchased? Refresh credits. The header of the plugin shows your credits and the days left.
Can I get a refund?
No. A credit purchase is not refundable after the credits are added to your account. If a technical problem stops you from using your credits, contact us and we help you. See the Terms.
