TonalBrain Mix Quick Guide · 5 of 8
Save your project
You only save your DAW project: it saves all settings, effects, edits and presets of TonalBrain Mix. You do not save files in the plugin.
What is saved
When you save your DAW project, it saves for each track: all settings, the effects, your edits, all presets and the track name.
- 1After an analysis or your edits, save your project (for example File > Save).
- 2When you quit your DAW and it asks to save, click Save.
When you open the project again
- All tracks come back with your settings and presets.
- The analysis panel is empty. This is normal. The project does not keep the captured sections. Capture again only when you want new suggestions.
- The plugin can ask you to sign in again. This does not change your settings.
Back up a result
Click ⚙ > Export parameters... after an analysis to save the result as a file. To load it in a different project, click ⚙ > Import parameters.... The tracks must have the same names. An import does not use a credit.
Copied tracks
When you duplicate a track with TonalBrain Mix in your DAW, or copy the plugin to a different track, the copy starts with default settings. The plugin treats it as a new track. Do a new analysis to give it settings.
