Sidechain routing

GarageBand

  1. 1Add TonalBrain Mix to the track you want to process.
  2. 2GarageBand's sidechain routing is limited — if no sidechain source selector appears, consider moving the project to Logic Pro for full routing.
  3. 3If a sidechain control is available, select the trigger track as the source and confirm the meter responds.

GarageBand exposes far less routing than Logic. For reliable sidechain detection we recommend Logic Pro or another full DAW.
